So if you’re feeling curious or concerned about your first appointment, you can learn all about our dental technology and equipment below.
3D Imaging Cone Beam
This instrument is used to scan your bone structure using a circular, full 360° motion of a cone beam. The picture scans are then assembled to generate a comprehensive three-dimensional view of your bone.
Cosmetic Design Software
If you’re unsure about how your new smile would look following a cosmetic dental procedure, not to worry. We have digital software that can depict how a veneer insertion, teeth whitening, or other treatments would look on you using our cosmetic design program. We can show you a preview of different possibilities and help you establish clear expectations before any procedure!
Dental Surgery Microscope
The surgical microscope boosts our line of sight so we can provide excellent care for you. A High Definition camera is integrated with it, allowing us to show you what we see.
Digital Impression System
While physical teeth impressions need to be obtained using a specialized dental putty, digital impression scans can aggregate many images together to construct a three-dimensional model of your teeth almost instantaneously. This computerized method enhances precision and speed, making the whole process much better than using conventional physical putty.
Digital X-rays can be captured much faster than conventional X-rays and can be processed almost instantaneously without a darkroom. The photos can also be magnified as required, enabling us to detect finer details that could otherwise have gone unnoticed. If you’re worried about radiation, digital X-rays actually lower exposures by nearly 90 percent, making them the safer alternative.
Hospital-Grade Surgical Room
Our dental surgery room is fully equipped with specialized monitoring systems, surgical lights, an advanced micromotor, and sedation or anesthesia provisions. This translates to a hospital-grade degree of care, expertise, and comfort for our customers!
Intraoral cameras allow us to get a close-up view of your mouth. They enable us to photograph your teeth from different angles and enhance them so we can check in-depth for symptoms of infections or decay. As the pictures can also be displayed on your chairside screen, we can show you how your teeth are looking and highlight the possible problem areas.
VELscope is an advanced oral diagnostic system. It involves illuminating your oral tissues with blue light to detect irregularities in the mouth, such as mouth cancer symptoms, that are usually undetectable by the naked eye.
